The Classic Open Air 2019 begins with a declaration of love to Berlin. We take you on a journey through the history of music in this great metropolis and present legendary titles from the twenties to today. Enjoy a glamorous opening gala with the German Film Orchestra Babelsberg, first-class soloists and a spectacular closing fireworks.

Here, classical music is masterfully combined with boogie woogie, jazz and pop music. The hits of DIE PRINZEN have long since become classics, with which an entire generation identifies. At the Gendarmenmarkt the famous a cappella group from Germany plays songs like "Alles nur geklaut", "Ich wär so gerne Millionär" or "Küssen verboten" from two and a half decades - accompanied by the Orchestra of the Musical Comedy Leipzig and with arrangements specially written for this special occasion.
