First Night - Highlights of Film Music

- Grand fireworks finale -

This year the First Night will put the spotlight on world renowned Highlights of film music. The Deutsche Filmorchester Babelsberg directed by Robert Reimer present a selection of music of majorly successful film productions such as silent films, film musicals as well as Hollywood Blockbusters. Numerous celebrity soloists  will interpret melodies of Chaplin-films and composers such as Ennio Morricone, John Williams and Hans.

Opera Italiana in light and fire

The grand italian opera evening

Upon a largely successful debut on the anniversary Classic Open Air, we are thrilled to announce that Theater Vorpommern with its Philharmonic Orchestra are to return to our stage. Opera Italiana is the context of the evening - the magnificent melodies of italian opera. This year the italien concert evening is accompanied by illuminations, projections and pyrotechnical effects. The Philharmonic Orchestra Vorpommern is directed by Golo Berg. The evening features performances by various soloists, choir as well as the ballet of the ensemble of Theater Vorpommern.

This charming program was recently highly celebrated in Hamburger Staatsoper by critics and audience alike and was thus sold out three times. Frankly, we did not hesitate to invite these impressively talented musicians onto our stage: Joja Wendt, Sebastian Knauer, Axel Zwingenberger and Martin Tingvall will serve up a summerly cocktail from Classic, Jazz, Boogie Woogie and Blues und needless to say best entertainment on eight hands and two grand pianos.
