The Festival at the park

Since 1994 the concerts under the sunset sky count as one of the highlights of the tradition-steeped musical town of Magdeburg. The Classic Open Air at the Herrenkrug Park has become a notion of sophisticated entertainment.

As one of the oldest landscaped parks, which in the 90s was expanded through the modern Elbauenpark, the Herrenkrug Park offers a picturesque ambience of copious park scenery and art nouveau architecture. There is scarcely a more beautiful setting for a festival in the countryside. The cooperation with the Herrenkrug Parkhotel is one of the cornerstones for the realisation of this concert series.

The spectrum of the popular music festival reaches from classical music, over the musical, swing and jazz, to symphonic pop concerts.

In 14 years many well-known national and international artists, soloist, choirs and orchestras performed at the festival. All fancy the wonderful atmosphere and the enchanting audience.
